This dishwasher is very different from my other, that I had for 18 years. Think once I get used to it I'll like it. First time I used it the gray tinted water glasses came out spotty, which never happened in the old one. Everything else, including clear glasses, we're ok.

I've only run 2 loads through it, but have been quite pleased with the level of cleaning it provides. I needed a smaller dishwasher due to a reconfiguring of my kitchen and this one fit perfectly. It's not enough to remove a star, but the length of time for the quickest wash cycle (60-Minute Wash) is a bit long in my opinion, but it beats me standing over the sink hand washing for the same amount of time. All in all, I'm pleased with the purchase and have shown it off to a few friends.

Nice little dishwasher

This is designed for a variety of counter heights so has adjustable legs. For a traditional counter height you need to have those plastic legs unscrewed almost to the maximum. The dishwasher was a touch wobbly until the anti-tip brackets were installed.I got the black version and it includes a black kickplate. It comes with silver colored screws to attach it so they stand out.It is washing my dishes well even with dried on food. The instructions show suggested images of how to arrange eight place settings but that must be with thin plates. My plates are thicker - they still fit between the slanted tines but are vertical and don't slant and nest like the images. As with any dishwasher it will take some trial-and-error to figure out how to best place the dishes.

This dishwasher is too short; won't match countertop. It's ADA type

Apparently there are no dishwashers that are apartment size, 18 inches wide, which also are tall enough to EASILY match the standard countertops. I bought this model twice, last year for my elderly brother. I was not there for install. But I also bought the same model for my home with a smaller kitchen. The Contractor charged me an extra $200. to retrofit this dishwasher. So PLEASE, they don't tell. you this in the adverts; you'll need to prop-up the dishwasher or place an insert on top, in order to match it with the STANDARD COUNTER TOP HEIGHT. This is terrible that Frigidaire does not EXPLAIN this in the adverts. Home Depot does not either. The problem is, you'll need to jury-rig when installing this AND if you buy from Home Depot, they won't refund the cost if you want to buy a different model. And that's PRIMARILY DUE TO FRIGIDARE NOT TAKING THE ITEMS BACK.So, in the end, as usual, the CUSTOMER IS THE ONE WHO IS HARMED.

Then we moved into a resident-owned mobile home park and it had no dishwasher but this year we decided to forgo not having any drawers and the 18 " fit perfectly in that space. Our 26 year old dishwasher unfortunately died and we needed to replace it. Read a ton of reviews on best smaller dishwashers and finally decided on this Frigidaire unit based on the positive ratings. After a few weeks of use I feel like we made the biggest mistake. This unit™€™s capacity is soooo much smaller than our last unit™€™s. We can™€™t fit nearly the amount of items in it, especially glasses/mugs and bowls. I don™€™t even understand the short spokes that are in it, they don™€™t support much of anything. If you want to stack bowls on the top rack you have to use the adjustable flap to support them which means you cut in half the space available for glasses. Due to the center spikes being so short and oddly slanted we can™€™t fit glasses in that area. The spokes for the plates in the bottom rear rack are okay, at least the spokes there are a reasonable height. The front part of the bottom rack however barely supports any dishes. Again, the short, overly slanted spokes keep bowls from being positioned upright and do not allow for that many items being placed in the rack. The last row of spokes on the bottom closest to the front of the dishwasher are so close to the edge that you can™€™t even squeeze small containers in there to utilize more space. As for plastic containers, what a pain. They don™€™t fit easily anywhere and stayed filled with water even after full cycle wash, despite using the heavy duty heated dry cycle. I notice the silverware often doesn™€™t get cleaned completely and have been having to wash by hand afterwards. The control panel is difficult to read and the font is very tiny so add that to the list of negatives. Only positive thing I can say is it doesn™€™t leave spots on the glasses or silverware. I hate it and am so disappointed. I wish I could uninstall it and return it, this is the worst appliance purchase we ever made. Guess we are stuck with it and with having to do more dishes by hand.

We purchased it as a second unit for our china and crystal glasses™€¦ it runs quite and is stainless steel but is plagued with i4 errors for leaks. We first have to appliance store come out but now we have referred the problem to Frigidaire. We hope this goes better!

Lower rack innermost wheels interference with vertical gasket on the two sides. This happens if the rack is pushed into the cabinet without being exactly centered. If the wheels were shortened slightly, this issue might be resolved.

This Frigidaire dishwasher works well. I am quite pleased. It's quiet and has a few more settings than my old one. I like the design of the tableware caddy, for it makes it easier to efficiently fill it with tableware.I might have designed the racks just a bit differently or made them, so they could be adjusted a bit. I don't often fill the racks with place setting for 8. Just the same, I'm pleased with the racks and I can put most skillets, and pots/pans in the dishwasher and everything comes out clean and air dried.Adding rinse aid ensures glassware comes out clean and much better looking than my old dishwasher towards the last.

Great dishwasher. I installed a dishwasher in a kitchen that has never had one before and my only choice was to do an 18™€ dishwasher, unless I wanted to customize or replace a few of my cabinets. So far, this dishwasher has been great. We knew when we purchased it that the capacity would be less than that of a standard 24™€ but for a 2-3 person smaller household, this size dishwasher is able to handle our number of dishes just fine. Installation was simple and the cutout dimensional guide was perfect for cutting out an opening from my cabinets.The dishwasher itself works great. So far, the only complaint is that the dish pod holder can be tricky to snap closed and usually takes quite a few tries after putting a pod in.
