I bought this device in October of 2019 and it has been nothing but issues. It consistently loses signal with remotes to the point I have to manually change the sound up and down which can go to insane levels on commercials for no apparent reason. I have tried a new HRr550 remote, the official samsung app, the comcast paired to receiver, and a universal remote. Nothing, I mean NOTHING will stay connected. Do NOT bother with this soundbar. You are better off setting it on fire.

Sound is better than I expected. Bluetooth connection to the tv works perfectly, but consistently breaks connection to both of our samsung phones. We've never had bluetooth issues with our phones on other devices, which makes me certain the issue is with the soundbar. Gets rather annoying, and customer service doesn't really offer a solution.

I have this connect through the HMDI ports in and out and the video and sound both cut in and out. I have sent it in for repair 3 times and it's keeps coming back with the same problem. I don't know what to do with it now.

I hooked up this sound bar and the sound is working. However, the volume when I watch tv is not as loud as it should be. But, when I switch to YouTube, the volume is significantly louder. Netflix is also louder, but not as loud as YouTube. When I listen to a music clip on YouTube, the volume is so loud that I can hear it from the street in front of my house, but when I watch cable tv the volume is about as loud as when I switch to the tv speakers. I have a samsung tv and my cable provider is Verizon FIOS. I went into the sound settings for the sound bar, tv, and cable box, but nothing seems to work. It may be a simple fix, but I'm giving this product the lowest rating because when I tried to chat with a tech, via text, the time expired about 10 seconds into me beginning to type my issue.

We received this off our wedding registry and enjoyed it for the first two weeks and now randomly the sound will cut in and out. Idk if it's over heated or what but I am wondering if it needs to be replaced or returned. The sound bar is Hooked up via an optical cable to an LG tv.

I bought this setup 2 weeks ago, soundbar works like it is supposed to. Subwoofer will connnect sometimes, then sometimes it wont...bass is fine when it actually works. i have the additional satellite speaker setup as well, and it connects fine. subwoofer could use some major work. its about 5 feet from the tv and soundbar so i know its not to far away, as it is now i would not recommend this product, i am actually thinking of just going bavk to my lg soundbar and sub as i never had a problem with it...would not recommmend....

I will NEVER uy another Samsung product. This worked PERFECTLY for 2 years, then dropped the audio link between the subwoofer AND the additional rea speakers I bought to go with this (all samsung). I sent it to be repaired for $80 (pus had to spend $20 to buy a box to shop it in) and they replaced 2 parts. Only...as soon as I plugged in my "repaired" unit it dropped the signal an hour later. The subwoofer and rear speakers are sitting less than 4 feet from the soundbar and have a COMPETELY unobstructed view.

I bought this at Target for 160 dollars and connected it to the 4K 65 inch TV on sale for black friday. Wasn't expecting to be blown away after watching all the you videos that say you have to spend thousands. It is amazing value wall mounted hidden cables it looks so high end and sounds amazing. Cannot emphasize it enough for a total of 700 dollars you get that Magnolia style product and expectations on a workers budget.

First and foremost, I do not own a Samsung TV. This review will based solely on the performance as a standalone unit, connected via optical input. It works fine, just unspectacular. It does everything pretty well, just not great. Highs and voices are goo, not great. Bass is good, not great. For a TV it is an improvement, for Bluetooth music these deficiencies really show up. A cheap Bluetooth speaker sounds as good. I am not using this as my sole source, so that is ok with me. I think if I had the ability to pair two sub-woofers it would help, but I don't think I can. I may not want to risk it even if I could, due to the anticipated expense. But, I really think that would help.
I had really high hopes for this soundbar based on reviews, and again it it is not bad. But middle of the road is where I would say it is. I have tried every sound adjustment, and the SMART sounds best. For the price, I expected more. I like it, I just wouldn't buy it again.

I've had this for two months and I don't reccomend it. The sound bar is a couple mm too tall to fit under my 55" Samsung TV, so it has to sit in front on my TV stand. This blocks the IR receiver on the TV so I have to lift my TV remote control all the way above my head and angle it down to get the TV to respond. Very annoying. The connection with the TV is not great. Originally I used HDMI but then got the optical cable. Both ways the sound bar sometimes doesn't sync properly and I often get a slight delay where the sound track gets offset from the video. It's hard to believe the soundbar and the TV were designed by the same company. They seem barely compatible. Very dissatisfied.

Got this about month ago. Extremely easy to set up. Improved sound about 90 %. Was able to sync with direct tv remote with no effort. Am very happy with this soundbar!!!

Bought this with the $100 surround sound kit. The little woofer was a real surprise. I turn it down a bit so as to avoid irritating the neighbors. Bought all this to go with a QLED Q70 65" TV that already has a pretty good system. However, for music and movies the sound add ons (for about $300 or so) were very worthwhile and I recommend them heartily. Wagner here I come! :)

This is my first soundbar I've purchased and I have enjoyed it for the most part. Sound is great with music, based on some content on TV I've noticed the sound a little low, and that's based on some not all. Set up is fairly easy with an optical cable included, one HDMI slot(cable not included) power cords for the woofer and soundbar. A micro USB slot, not an actually USB slot, so you need an adapter for it to work and it has to be specific, because I've use a non compatible one, which didn't work, so I would use one of Samsung's recommended versions. Other than that I was satified, I know there's better soundbars but this is nice for what it can do.

It doesn't come with HDMI cable. The sub bass is non existent at the low frequencies. The subwoofer should perform better at this price.

Great sound at a reasonable price.
Had checked it out online thru Bestbuy, and decided it was the soundbar for me, despite the product page on Bestbuy showing that no remote was included with this particular model. Was happily surprised to find that it did come with a separate remote as you can change your sound settings with ease. Found setup of the soundbar to be easy without any conflicts. Had purchased a Samsung 49" tv back in January of 18 and the bass would always cut out and would have to turn the volume up to fix each time. Decided it wasn't worth returning the tv for repair, and would eventually buy a soundbar. Wish I had bought one sooner as they're worth every penny.
